How to use particle 「に」 or 「で」 about a place

1.
「に」 is used with Be-verb or stay(あります、います)、put(置きます or live(住んでいます)

原則：
○テーブルのうえ「に」りんごがあります
×テーブルのうえ「で」りんごがあります

※例外：
ここ「で」あります　is sometimes used when you say like a concert is held here.
○ここでコンサートがあります。

2.
「で」 is used with other verbs like　study(勉強します)

○私は学校「で」勉強します
×私は学校「に」勉強します
